Green IT

Information technology (IT) is a major consumer of energy, but it is also important in implementing efficiencies that will reduce the carbon footprint of the whole organisation. Connection Research’s Green IT practice has developed the Green IT Readiness Index, a measure of the level of maturity of an organisation’s usage of Green IT in five key areas: End User Efficiencies, Enterprise IT Efficiencies, Lifecycle and Procurement, Measuring and Monitoring, and Enabling the Business.
